Week's highlights:
Chase told me that he remembers some things from when he was a baby in my tummy. He said, "I think I saw a few movies, and some bubbles." He also told me one morning this week that he would pay me a dime to make his breakfast a little faster.
My Facebook hiatus has shown me that most of my social life is in cyberspace. I thought I had many more friends than I actually do. I'm so lonely for the world of Facebook and all that is transpiring in my absence, but also I feel a little liberated that I'm not glued to the virtual world quite so much. (She says from the blogosphere.)
My girls and I finished our Beth Moore Bible study. I feel like a champion completing it. We hand wrote the book of James. Champions, to be sure! And I learned a lot too.
Chad took my keys to work twice this week, so we were trapped at home twice. This actually makes me quite happy...I enjoy the forced laziness. The boys got a little stir crazy, but totally worth the price of admission for a pajama day or two. It was President's Week, which meant no school. I love no school!
Cole started Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book 2, and he's read almost the whole thing by himself! Who knew that slightly inappropriate potty humor would finally turn the tide on his attitude towards reading. The books are actually really quite funny, and I'm selfishly a little bummed that he read the second one without me.
The Downton Abbey obsession continues. Oh my goodness, I can hardly think about anything else. I anxiously await 8:00 every night so we can toss our children in their beds, I mean lay them down gently and softly sing them to sleep, and then camp out on the couch with our beloved Crawleys. Got some spoilers from my friend Sara this week, and it sounds like we won't be too happy at the end of season 3. I'm sure this will put me into a deep funk, as I sometimes have difficulty remembering that tv characters aren't real people that I actually know.

Beautiful pages! My 9YO loves the Wimpy Kid books too. And Captain Underpants. Now he's into Geronimo Stilton. I think it is harder to find books for boys than for girls.
We have that same Incredibles costume! :)
Have another great week!
