Fun facts about this week:
1. Caden had some interesting questions about his anatomy while he was taking a bath. I'll spare the details, but the word "bulge" was used. I do wonder how and/or why he thinks of these things. He also told me that if he climbed up God's back, it would take a long time because He's so big. Cole told him it wasn't possible, because the air is too thin where God is.
2. Cole offered me his hoody when we were outside and it was cold. Chivalry is alive! This totally made up for the fact that he asked me not to put my arm around him when we were walking to Kumon.
3. Chase didn't score this weekend at basketball, and he was NOT happy. Cole got sick after Chase's game so I had to take him home before his game started. It was also team picture day, and we had to miss it! This makes me so sad, although he didn't care one bit. Pictures aren't important to a 9 year old boy.
4. Chad made fun of me for buying a porcelain bird and a porcelain flower. He called me an 80 year old woman. To this I say, "Whatevs." Would an 80 year old say 'whatevs'? I think not.
5. Chad sent me a love email in which he called me "Holiday". I love this nickname bestowed upon me by Shanna, and thusly I forgave him for calling me a senior citizen, and his mockery of my new trinkets.
6. I drove 140 miles between Tuesday and Thursday, but never got outside the seven mile radius of my house. Next year I won't be driving around like the absolute madness that I have to do right now, so I'm trying not to be too stinky about it. But I hate all the driving around. It's so ridiculous. HATE IT! (And I'm not very successful at hiding the stink...obviously.)
7. I exercised on Sunday. I haven't done such a thing in awhile. I think I almost lost consciousness. This could be a sign that I might need to do it more often.
8. The bribery tactic of sugary cereal to keep the little boys in bed until 6:00 has been successful. Sugary cereal is my new best friend.
9. Chase asked me if a giant bird (the stork, I presume) could bring us a baby girl. If it was possible, I might consider putting my request in.
10. I've discovered the wonders of Downton Abbey. My newest obsession. Oh Matthew Crawley, how I wish your love wasn't unrequited by Mary.
11. Chad took me for a little spin on his new toy. Totally reminded me of the hours and hours we logged pre-marriage driving around on various Hinshaws motorcycles. I was much braver back then.
12. Bingly Boo continues to be the squishiest little love pug nugget ever. He is so adorable, I wanna eat his face. People consider me a crazy dog person, but to that I say, "Whatevs". If you know Cringle, then you feel this way too. He totally makes up for the stork never bringing me a girl.
Here are my PL pages for the week. I wish the text didn't look so choppy on Blogger, but rest assured that it looks pretty in Photoshop.

I bought a bird last week too - not porcelain, but a pretty ceramic bird for my mantle.
Tell Chad I said whatevs too - because I AM not old my any means either!
