Scavenger Hunt Sunday - Park Hopping Edition

Hello, Friends.  All of my Scavenger Hunt pictures were taken today at various parks in our area.  We had a beautiful, sunshine-filled day, so we hit up our favorite hot spots.  "We" includes myself, one husband that likes to get dirty, three boys that like to get dirty, and one little dog that likes to get dirty.  Let it be said that I do not like to get dirty.  Nor do I like other people to get dirty, especially if I have to clean said people, and said peoples' clothing.  I do not like my dog to get dirty.  No dirt.  No dirt of any kind.  Are you feeling me on this?  Needless to say, everyone got very, very dirty today.  Except me.

The first picture is from the first park we visited.  Caden was too afraid to go down the slide, so he got stuck midway and Daddy had to rescue him.  The last two pictures are from the last park.  I'd say he conquered his fears...and he got dirty.

Currently my favorite little nugget in the entire world.  This was before he got dirty.  I should also mention that I just bathed him LAST NIGHT.  Dirt everywhere today.  I'm still not over it.

texture

I am not usually a fan of texture on my pictures.  I like it when other people use it, but for some reason I never think it looks quite right on mine.  But for the sake of SHS, here is my attempt at a texturized picture.  And I am being completely serious when I tell you that I used a texture called Dirty Loving.  It's true!

I also want to note that I edited these photos on my laptop, which tends to look a little washed out compared to my real monitor, so hopefully my editing won't make the pictures look crazy nuclear bright on your screens!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday ~ Mother's Day Edition

I love Mother's Day.  I wish every day was Mother's Day.  My morning started with my favorite Starbucks treats delivered to me while I was still in bed, AND I got to stay there and read a delicious book until 9:30!!  Then my adorable husband suggested that we head to Seattle for some interesting Scavenger Hunt opportunities.  Who's a great husband?  You are, Chad Boyd.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Last week was really strange and weird without a scavenger hunt to keep me occupied...I missed you, Ashley!  So happy that you're back this week!

(Last week's yellow picture would've been perfect for this, but I was crazy excited about the super moon tonight, so this works too.  It was very tricky...I shot in RAW with my 18-200, manual mode, on a tripod, with a remote, in the cold, and in the dark...it's not perfect, but I'm happy with it.  Couldn't talk my cute hubby into bucking up for a teleconverter just for the super moon. 
Maybe next time...)
