We saw some beautiful scenery.
Then we blazed some trails.
Oh yeah, and I was there too. (Don't they look happy to pose with me?)
After we were sufficiently wet and hungry, we stopped by Cabelas for some lunch. There was quite a bit more wildlife on display there than what we saw at the actual wildlife refuge; but for very different reasons. My camera lost its' charge right after this picture, but you get the idea of the "different reasons" that I'm referring to. Oh, to be a Boyd. (In this area, I'm still a Taylor.)
Chad was saying on our way to our adventures how I must've dreamed when I was a little girl of the days when I would grow up to visit wildlife refuges and Cabelas. Well, my visions of the future were a little different (can anyone say pedicures and My Little Ponies?), but I love my boys so I'll happily brave the rain and the guy stuff to be with them!
