Adventurin' In The Rain

On Saturday we decided to scoff in the face of the nasty weather and do something outside. Chad suggested going to the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. It was rainy and wet, but the boys didn't seem to mind at all.   Anything for an adventure!

We saw some beautiful scenery.
And some fun wildlife.

Then we blazed some trails.

Oh yeah, and I was there too.  (Don't they look happy to pose with me?)

After we were sufficiently wet and hungry, we stopped by Cabelas for some lunch.  There was quite a bit more wildlife on display there than what we saw at the actual wildlife refuge; but for very different reasons.  My camera lost its' charge right after this picture, but you get the idea of the "different reasons" that I'm referring to.  Oh, to be a Boyd.  (In this area, I'm still a Taylor.)
Chad was saying on our way to our adventures how I must've dreamed when I was a little girl of the days when I would grow up to visit wildlife refuges and Cabelas.  Well, my visions of the future were a little different (can anyone say pedicures and My Little Ponies?), but I love my boys so I'll happily brave the rain and the guy stuff to be with them!
