I took a few pictures for Gramma today. Five kids. Only one of them a girl. Three Boyd boys who can't stand having their pictures taken. It was really, really hard to get everyone going in the same direction. (I bribed with candy, and a once in a lifetime opportunity to say naughty words. My kids would do just about anything to say "butt cheeks" or "fart" without ramifications. And let me be honest, by "once in a lifetime opportunity", I mean every time I try and get their picture. They're on to me.) Even with the green light to use toddler-type profanity, I still couldn't get picture perfection. But the outtakes are pretty cute.
This might be my favorite picture of all time.
Why? Why? Why isn't Chase looking at the camera in this shot? Why????

Aww, this is just life! You will love these later, probably so much more than if they cooperated "nicely" and gave you cheesy smiles :) Great job!
My kids are 25 and 22...and every time the cousins are together we have a cousin photo - one serious, one (or several!) silly. Started out as a chore ... years ago they started asking and they'd never miss a chance to get one in. These shots over the years are some of my favorite possessions! And you're well on your way to a prize collection!!
Because THAT is who Chase is in this point of his life - you silly girl!
I wouldn't want the "perfect portrait" as these all show who they are right now.
Absolutely love them all, especially the 1st one!
I love them all but to me the first one is the best as laughter is the best medicine for anyone and to see children laughing is wonderful, life is just great to kids no bills or worries or anything just laughter and I love it...
