Our Fall Day & Photo a Day 5/365

Chad's friend, Kip loaned me his beautiful lens for family pictures I was set to take today, but the rain ruined it.  However, it didn't stop the Boyd family from traipsing out to Green River to take some shots with the lovely lens.

Here's our day in pictures.

The boys enjoyed some DS time while I made the newest household breakfast favorite, Chunky Monkey Pancakes.
I love their serious expressions.

After breakfast, we went to the river to watch the fishermen.  (I'm not being sexist here, I was the only woman in a ten mile radius.  Wading in freezing cold water apparently doesn't attract too many chicks in mid-October.)

My Chaddy is so handsome.  He hates this picture, but I love it.

Cole's favorite way to demonstrate his brute strength is to pick me up.  He asks me if he can carry me at least ten times a day.

I love this boy so much. So so much.

We came home to carve our pumpkins, and while the boys whittled away, I made soup, and some treats to really dazzle and delight my fellas.

Witch hats and homemade caramel apple cider...yes, please.

And the finished products!

Happy Fall, everyone!
