Look, friends! A post with words, not just pictures! It's even about one of my kids, not about pictures! I'm a real blogger, at least for today.
Chase Ryan is a real lover of eggnog, and he's been mourning its absence since the holiday season concluded. When I discovered that eggnog would be making a cameo for Easter at our local farm, I ordered some up to be delivered with our milk. (Side note: Caden told me the other day that he loves me more than he loves the milk truck. If you know how deeply he loves the milk truck, you know what a big moment this was for me.) Chase has been counting down the days for the past week waiting for the milkman to bring us some eggnog. It finally arrived this morning. We knew it was coming, and we were all waiting with bated breath. (Except for me, I could do without it. I actually find it really disgusting. Putrid, even. Nasty. Bleh.) We got out the fancy glasses, and the revelry began. Chase was in absolute heaven.

Oh beautiful eggnog carton, you're so sleek, and your contents are so delicious.
You bring such happiness and joy to the heart, as well as the taste buds.
A beautiful cascade of sweet nectar.
Ahhhh, so tasty.
Chase was so happy about this rare treat, that he actually said, "Thank you, my queen." He was talking to me, not the eggnog. And his parting comment about this? "Eggnog is peace." He is a real fan.

What a cutie, little things in life make that boy so so happy...
Sorry about that but my comment was on here twice but well worth repeating you know, what a cutie...
That is hilarious! I have to agree with Chase...LOVE IT! I'm a little jealous. :-)
Great blog. I'm impressed that you have a milkman who actually delivers milk. I thought that went out in the 1950s. Wow! Have a great week.
I am with Chase Ryan on lovin' eggnog. I bought a carton for myself at Christmas time and enjoyed every drop. Cute, cute post!!
So Cute! I love this post.
