At preschool Chase made a really cute, edible Christmas tree out of an upside down ice cream cone, green frosting, and candy. I thought that would be a really fun and tasty treat for the boys and I to make during Christmas break. (Goodness knows we haven't had enough sugar lately with all the birthday and Christmas parties, but hey, 'tis the season, right?) So earlier this week the whole family sat down to do this fun project together.
We ate a lot of candy during the creative process, and therefore didn't have the appetites to actually eat our trees. (Not to mention that a few of them didn't actually look all that appetizing!) Here are the finished products. As of the writing of this post, I have eaten so many sweet treats this week that I actually feel a little sick just thinking about it. Oh sugary Christmas tree, how I love and hate you all at once.
