Cole came home so stoked that he won a Spirit Award, this awesome frisbee. It's become so important to Cole that he's tied a long, long string from the tree house to the frisbee, so that if it goes over the fence he can pull it back over to our side before the neighbor's dog eats it. He does not want to lose his Spirit Award to Sadie-dog, as has been the sad fate of so many of our backyard toys.
He was so proud!
The carnival was a huge event with food, games, bouncy houses, and so many other awesome and amazing things for the kids to participate in. I must reiterate that it was only $15.00 for the whole week...unbelievable!!!
Cole and Chase are waiting patiently in line to take a turn on one of the giant bouncy houses...
And sometimes not so patiently!
Cole faces the net...
And goes back for more! (Please note that Cole picked out his black socks...he looks dashing, doesn't he!)
And goes back for more!
Caden wasn't big enough to enjoy the bouncy houses. The only ride he got was the one on Daddy's shoulders. He wasn't too happy about this.

Mommy and the Boyd boys...I just love them so much. I especially love Cole's face in this picture...I wish I knew what he was thinking.
Team Boyd!
And a very, very special thank you to my dearest Shanna. In addition to everything her friendship has given me, it's also given my boys a much fuller life...she knows all the cool things to do around town, and is always so generous to invite us to join in the good times!
My Shanna and I.
It was such a fun experience for Cole. We will definitely be back next year, and Chase will be old enough to join in the fun too! I can't wait! (Did I mention it was only $15.00 for the whole week??)
